Synergy Broadbeach
ASP Piling completed a design, guide wall, installation of 32.2 lineal meters of contiguous piles and 197 lineal meters of sheet piles for Morris Property Groups latest Broadbeach asset, Synergy.
Sapphire on Broadwater
ASP Piling have completed installation of 14 bored piles and 81 lineal meters of sheet piling for Mactech Constructions site of Sapphire on Broadwater.
The building itself has a unique design and is sure to be a modern art house building that will attract the eye people in the area.
Artique
Built by Rapcivic Constructions in Surfers Paradise, Queensland.
This development required shoring by ASP Piling to construct a two level basement.
Whilst anchored sheet piling was used, a small portion of this job had to be restrained using internal propping.
All sheet piling work was carried out by Australian Sheet Piling with all dewatering handled by sister company Australian Dewatering Systems.
Surfers Paradise Foreshore: Revetment Wall
ASP’s involvement in the Surfers Paradise Foreshore Redevelopment ran from 2010 to 2011.
Under contractor Abigroup for the Gold Coast City Council, ASP cast 1184 concrete panels at their Burleigh yard and transported them to Surfers for jetting in using recycled seawater.
ASP’s revetment walls are the most efficient erosion protection system yet used on the foreshore of Surfers Paradise and have the potential to significantly outlast all previous anti-erosion efforts at the location combined.
Cudgen Surf Club Secant Wall
ASP built a secant wall to combat erosion at the Cudgen Surf Life Saving Club at Kingscliffe, NSW. This stretch of coastline has suffered severe erosion, resulting in the loss of a beachfront road not far from the surf club.
The overlapping concrete piles that form a Secant Pile Wall create a watertight wall which eliminates issues of scouring caused by tides and weather and provides a sound base/foundation to protect buildings and other infrastructure from being undermined.
This project for the Tweed Shire Council took from May to August 2010.
The Cudgen SLSC secant wall was also tied back to a secondary reinforced concrete footing using connecting anchors.
When high seas again threatened the foreshore, the surf club’s secant wall weathered the storm.
Coast 2 in Labrador
ASP Piling has completed a design, pre drilling and sheet piling for Stokes Wheeler site Coast 2 in Labrador. It appears the site is stage one of a bigger development and ASP Piling are hoping to continue their work on the project.
Rhapsody Surfers Paradise
Multiplex site Rhapsody. Rhapsody located on the old Red Rooster site in Surfers Paradise was hot property after the reduction of track size for the GC600 and this completing on the Gold Coast Light Rail, the building features studio apartments for university students right up to penthouse suits for the businessman getaway.
ASP Piling have completed a design, pre-drilling and installation of 2015 lineal meters of sheet pile for the Brookfield.
Casuarina Town Centre
Casuarina TowncentreASP Piling have completed design and installation of 162 contiguous Grout piles for the Hutchinson Builders development of the Casuarina Town Centre.
The 68 lineal meters of contiguous grout piles was also paired with 185 square cubic meters of shotcreteing for the shopping centre underground carpark.
Woolworths Petrol Lakewood
ASP Piling (NSW) was engaged in this project to design, pre-drill, install 43 L/M sheet piles and anchors to allow the installation of fuel tanks in a Woolworths Petrol service station.
